Volunteers wore name tags and welcomed sellers and helped them set-up and unload their bikes and other equipment. Sellers continued to show up throughout the event. The Helena Police Department registered 20+ bikes with the help of Deputy Lavinder.
An estimated 100+ people came to look at bikes and quite a few bikes were sold. The reservation fee was returned or waived so that the SRTS Committee didn’t have to deal with cash or checks.
Event coordinator received many appreciative verbal thanks from sellers and buyers. Many commented that this is a great opportunity to encourage biking. The bikes were mostly of good quality and most sold. The weather cooperated.
